Allegheny Medical is doing all we can to fight the spread of the Coronavirus in our office. Our team is implementing all CDC recommended measures to keep the clinic clean and sanitized. Be assured, we disinfect and clean every room after patient use and are maintaining a regular cleaning schedule, hourly, throughout the office. So, whether you are in the waiting room, an exam room, or in the gym- we can ensure you that your health and safety is our upmost priority!
Some specific precautions we are taking:
+ mask requirement for all staff and patients
+ temperature screening and completion of COVID-19 questionnaire upon check-in
+ utilizing telehealth services to limit in office interaction, where applicable
+ routine mask and glove change by providers
+ use of medical grade cleaning disinfectant solutions on surfaces
+ proper sterilization of all equipment and devices
+ directing patients with symptoms to Coronavirus testing sites instead of to our office
In addition to assuring our facility is clean and safe, we are strongly encouraging the act of social distancing within the clinic. Throughout the office, and especially in the physical therapy department, our staff is making sure each patient is maintaining a 6 ft radius of social distancing. Our physical therapy department is also scheduling patients bi-hourly to limit how many patients are in the gym and are wiping equipment and surfaces clean following each and every use.
