Chris Peterson, PTA
Chris Peterson is an exceptional licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who has been working within the outpatient physical therapy setting since the start of his career. He has taken numerous specialized training courses ranging from TMJ/TMD and functional mobility, to courses in kinesiology tape and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) tools that he uses to optimizes the physical therapy experience.
Chris graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville after completing clinical experiences at outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing locations in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. He also has been granted Indirect Supervision status by the State Physical Therapy Board of PA.
Chris is a proud alumni member of Upper St. Clair High School. He participates in volunteer work with the Rotary group and helps coach throwers on the Upper St. Clair track and field team during the spring. Chris played football and was a thrower in high school before advancing on to the collegiate division 2 level at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown as a thrower. Chris participates in both powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting training in his free time.
