Physical Therapy Services

What is physical therapy?

Physical Therapy provides services to people through a licensed physical therapist to develop, maintain, and reach maximum movement and functional ability throughout a lifetime. The therapist is concerned with identifying and maximizing movement potential as well as providing preventive treatment and rehabilitation.

Our therapist graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She works closely with the referring physician and other staff members in order to coordinate treatment to promote optimal, quality results. Allegheny Medical is in the business of promoting good health, improving the quality of life and fitness in all ages and populations.

Some conditions our physical therapist manages:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Musculoskeletal and joint conditions, i.e. arthritis and total knee replacement
  • Biomechanical problems and muscle control
  • Sports related injuries
  • Migraine headaches and tension headaches
  • Neuromuscular conditions, i.e. stroke and fibromyalgia
  • Reduced fitness levels secondary to illness
  • Obesity

Physical therapy hours of operation: Mon-Thu 9am to 7pm; Fri 9am to 1pm
