Allegheny Medical Offers Complimentary Consultations for Sufferers of Chronic Back Pain

The majority of people in the United States will experience lower back pain at least one time during their lives—and back pain is one of the most common reasons people see a doctor or miss work.

The good news is, Allegheny Medical's team of physicians and health care professionals has been successfully treating chronic back pain for over twenty-five years, and they continue to be dedicated to offering relief to those affected by this modern epidemic.

Unfortunately, the blessing of modern life comes backpain Allegheny Medical Offers Complimentary Consultations for Sufferers of Chronic Back Painwith a downside: too little time to exercise, too much sitting down, and too much stress. The result is a near epidemic of back problems in recent times. While many individuals may not always find time for the daily exercise that keeps their backs strong, many others who do try to stay active end up overdoing it.

Another cause of back pain is poor posture and alignment, which can put strain on the muscles and ligaments of the back and force the vertebrae joints to carry more weight than they should. The results are pain and extra wear and tear on the spine.

In order to stay strong and flexible, spines need daily attention. However, many people contend with constant muscle tension due to sitting for long hours at a desk or behind the wheel, or simply as a result of stress—all of which spell back trouble.

Regardless of the cause, a back strengthened by regular moderate exercise is less likely to be injured. Allegheny Medical can help those who suffer with back pain by designing personalized treatment plans based on the individual's health needs and concerns. Strength and flexibility in the back must be built up gradually, and doing too much too soon can often cause muscle strain.  The physicians and health care professionals at Allegheny Medical can diagnose and treat patients who are experiencing back pain and injury and get them safely back on the road to healing and recovery.

If you are ready to find out how Allegheny Medical can help you get relief from chronic back pain, be sure to contact them today for a free consultation at 412-494-4550.

viewfrommtwashington Allegheny Medical is Best of Pittsburgh for 2nd YearAs 2009 comes to a close, Allegheny Medical is proud that this year marked the second consecutive time they have been selected for the Best of Pittsburgh Award in the Health Care Providers category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

Exceptional Success

The USLBA "Best of Local Businesses" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the United States.  Every year companies are identified by the USLBA as having achieved exceptional success in their business category, as well as their local community.  The companies which are chosen are seen as enhancing the image of small business through the service they provide to their customers and the community.

Interestingly, only 1 in 70 recipients of the 2008 Award qualified as 2009 Award winners.  The 2009 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity--and winners are determined based on information gathered by both the USLBA and third party data.

About the U.S. Local Business Association

The USLBA, based in Washington D.C., is funded by local businesses in towns of all sizes across America.  The Association's purpose is to promote local business through advertising, public relations and marketing--and it was established to recognize the best of local businesses in their community.

The USLBA works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, chambers of commerce, professional associations and other groups, and its mission is to be an advocate for business entrepreneurs across the United States.
