New Allegheny Medical Website Goes Live

stethoscope New Allegheny Medical Website Goes LiveIntroducing the all-new Allegheny Medical website!

Our new and improved site reflects the dedication of our organization to serving the health needs of individuals, companies, families and communities in Pittsburgh, Western Pennsylvania and the Tri-State area.

That dedication began in 1984, when Dr. Neal Fanelli founded the center which has since built better health for more than 10,000 patients.

In conjunction with the launch of the new site, we've also started this blog which will help keep you up to date with the latest in health care news, issues and trends.

Here at the blog you'll find plenty of helpful information on the four distinct services lines offered by Allegheny Medical:

WorkCare: Our WorkCare team provides high quality, cost-effective occupational health care for injured employees.  WorkCare is a preferred panel provider for companies, school districts and municipalities throughout the tri-state area.

PeopleCare: PeopleCare offers full scale physical medicine treatment programs for individuals with acute or chronic pain or frequent illnesses.  PeopleCare creates customized wellness treatment programs for each individual patient.

SportsCare: SportsCare provides personalized, performance-based training programs for athletes, individuals with physically demanding jobs, and those who want to become more active.  SportsCare programs integrate fitness and lifestyle and behavior management with medical practices.

WellnessCare: Our WellnessCare team provides customized wellness programs based on an in-depth medical evaluation of each patient.  WellnessCare's initiatives include weight management, workshops, screenings, health risk assessments and health fairs.

Through these distinct service lines, Allegheny Medical continues to provide high-quality, compassionate and expert care in order to fulfill our mission of building better health for every aspect of an individual's life.

We welcome your comments and will be updating the blog several times a week, so be sure to check back often.  We hope you find our new site an easy-to-navigate, informative resource for all of your health care needs.

  1. Congratulations everyone on your new website and blog! Very excited to be a part of it all.

  2. Thank all of you who have helped make Allegheny Medical what it is today. Your tireless pursuit for excellence has not gone un-noticed as Allegheny Medical was recently awarded as the Best in Pittsburghs Health Care Providers for two years in a row, 2008 and 2009. Congratulations to everyone and I am proud of your distinguished work ethic.

  3. Dear Everyone at Alleghney Medical, I am so glad you have this blog! I want the world and the staff to know how much you have made a difference in my life. The minute I walked into the office, everyone was so wonderful , it made my day a little easier knowing there were people that truly wanted to help me, they made me feel like family. Thank you Krista for all your help, I am finally able to have so much more movement with my shoulder, I was starting to give up! Look forward to seeing everyone next week.

  4. As a full-time student and young professional, maintaining a balanced lifestyle can be challenging. Working all day and studying throughout the night is not the ideal way-of-life. However, I can’t thank Dr. Fanelli at Allegheny Medical enough for working hard on helping me harness a work/study-life balance that has seriously helped me restore my energy. Your PeopleCare services and WellnessCare consultations have been great investments, and I personally recommend your services to everyone.

This blog seems like it will be very interesting. I really like this new hands-on, web 2.0 approach you have taken to help me stay up-to-date on the latest health care related information — great idea! I look forward to your updates!

  5. Dr. Neal, thank you for going above and beyond with my physical therapy treatments. It has been so wonderful to have multiple services taken care of in one facility. I’ve been to other doctors only to be treated like a number or a bother. At your office, I feel like I am among friends who really care about me. The best part is that I am getting better too! Many thanks to you and your staff.

  6. Thanks for the nice article on “FM”. I am glad to have a trusted source for some of the most talked about medical issues facing retired blue collar workers. There is a lot of misleading Internet garbage about fibromyalgia and I thank you for publishing your article. It’s nice to know there are doctors out there who want to share the facts and help people understand their treatment options. Typically the only ones talking about “FM” are late-night attorneys looking for a quick settlement.

  7. Dear Dr. Neal,
I am so excited to be able to read all the new and exciting things going on. I love how easy it is to find on the computer. If I can do this on a computer at 84 everyone can! Keep up the good work!

    Sincerely,
    Eve Steiner

  8. Dr.Neal,

    Michael
